Study in Japan for Free: University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2026 in Japan. Funded by Japan’s Ministry of Education (MEXT), this scholarship is available for international students pursuing Master’s or PhD programs at UTokyo and covers full tuition, a monthly allowance, and round-trip airfare. The program supports international students who wish to study in Japan and graduate from UTokyo.

Full tuition exemption, monthly stipend, and economy-class airfare to and from the applicant’s home country; potential additional research allowances.
