CaribOx Visiting Fellowship Scheme 2027

The CaribOx Visiting Fellowship Scheme 2027 is a visiting fellowship and travel-grant programme intended for researchers based at Caribbean research institutions to collaborate with researchers at the University of Oxford. The fellowship lasts twelve months and combines ten months of virtual engagement with a two-month in-person visit to Oxford, including accommodation and support services. The programme provides travel and living subsidies as part of its package for selected fellows.

Flight costs covered, accommodation in Oxford, daily living allowance, access to Oxford resources with a University Card, visa and travel support, and facilitation for virtual and in-person activities.

Applications are open to researchers in all disciplines. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent, be a legal resident of a Caribbean country, be fully employed by a Caribbean-based academic institution, have a contract covering the duration of the fellowship, and commit to returning to the Caribbean after the residency. They must also have an existing collaboration or be in contact with a potential Oxford collaborator and have proof of approvals from their home institution. Proficiency in English at an intermediate level is required.

Prepare and submit a research proposal with a statement of support from an Oxford collaborator, have the collaborator submit a support form, fill out the application form, attach a CV, and submit all documents by the deadline via email to the provided addresses.
