Medical Student Empowerment for Community Initiative (MECI) Scholarship 2026 for Nigerian Medical Students

The MECI Scholarship Fund provides financial aid and mentorship to undergraduate Medicine and Surgery students in Nigeria who demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and community leadership. It is organized by the Medical Student Empowerment for Community Initiative (MECI) and targets students across six Nigerian universities. The program offers a scholarship award and ongoing mentorship to support medical education.

₦100,000 scholarship award; financial support for medical education; mentorship and guidance throughout medical school; recognition within MECI’s community impact network.

Applicants must be registered Medicine and Surgery students enrolled in one of the six participating Nigerian universities, at any level of study, and demonstrate financial incapability while maintaining good academic standing.
