Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme 2026 for Early-Career Researchers from the European Neighbourhood

The Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme 2026 offers short-term research visits (1–3 months maximum) to early-career researchers from higher education institutions located in the European Neighbourhood. Participating universities host scholars to continue research and foster academic collaborations with European partners. The programme is funded by Coimbra Group member universities and managed by the Coimbra Group Office.

Be born on or after 1 January 1991; be a national and current resident of one of the listed European Neighbourhood countries; be academic staff with postdoctoral or equivalent status; obtain an acceptance letter from a supervisor at the host university.

Apply through the Coimbra Group electronic application process; submit only one application to a single university; all information must be in English.
