The CAM-Doctoral Training Partnership (CAM-DTP) is an ESRC-funded consortium of Anglia Ruskin University, the University of Bedfordshire, and the University of Cambridge offering ESRC-funded PhD studentships starting in October 2026. It provides interdisciplinary training for social scientists and supports talented doctoral researchers with research, training, and placements to address key societal challenges. The program encourages applications from diverse backgrounds, with emphasis on applicants from low socio-economic backgrounds or educational disadvantage.

Applications are through the lead university (supervisor-led route) or by applying to a CAM-DTP university and indicating ESRC funding interest (student-led route); there is no direct CAM-DTP application.
