Obichi PitchLab

The Obichi PitchLab is a fellowship/innovation & commercialization program launched by the Young Innovation Leaders (YIL) Fellowship in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment and the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) Abuja. It supports student and graduate research projects by providing training, mentorship, catalytic grants, and global exposure to help turn academic research into market-ready startups. The program is conducted virtually and aims to bridge academia and the marketplace.

Catalytic grant, monthly stipend, expert mentorship, peer learning, prototyping and validation support, IP protection and legal setup, publication and business registration support, commercialization and investor-readiness training, certificate, and access to a network of innovators and investors.

Final-year Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD students in any discipline, and recent graduates within 2 years of graduation.
