NOW OPEN: Foresight Institute’s 2025 AI Safety Grant Program awards up to $300,000+ to innovative projects

The Foresight Institute AI Safety Grant Program funds innovative proposals to shape a safer AI future across security technologies for AI-relevant systems, neurotechnology to integrate with or compete against AGI, safe multi-agent scenarios, and automating research and forecasting. It supports both short-term and multi-year projects and accepts applicants globally. Grants can cover a range of project scopes, with awards typically up to $300,000 and potential overhead allowances, given either in full or in milestones.

Monetary grant funding to support AI safety projects; potential overhead allowance; funding can be provided in full or in milestones depending on project and progress.

Individuals, teams, and organizations working on projects aligned with at least one of the four focus areas are welcome to apply.
