Chemistry Summer School

An 8-week online Chemistry Summer School for Year 12 students focusing on university-level topics beyond the syllabus and preparation for Top UK and Oxbridge chemistry applications. Weekly 1.5-hour sessions (total 12 hours) are led by tutors educated at Oxford and Cambridge. The course covers advanced topics such as crystal field theory, catalysis, molecular orbital theory, entropy and periodic trends, and includes guidance for personal statements and interviews. It aims to develop problem-solving, theoretical discussion and communication skills relevant to chemistry applications.

Weekly online sessions with Oxbridge-educated chemistry tutors; personalised guidance for Top UK and Oxbridge applications; exposure to university-level chemistry topics; development of problem-solving and interview skills.

Designed primarily for Year 12 students (age 16-17); younger ambitious students are also welcome. Student age listed as 15 - 18.
