A fully funded doctoral position in Plant Physiology at the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences (DEEP), Stockholm University. The project focuses on the epigenetic basis of reproductive thermotolerance in plants using molecular approaches to study fertility and development under heat stress. The position is offered as a fixed-term employment for up to four years of full-time doctoral education. The role may include limited work with teaching, research and administration (maximum 20%).

Applicants must have completed a second-cycle degree (master’s level) or equivalent with at least 120 credits at bachelor level in molecular biology, biology, chemistry or similar subjects, and 60 credits at master level in plant physiology or similar subjects including at least 30 credits of research project; relevant knowledge and experience in research methods and good English proficiency are required.
