US Medicine and Disease Olympiad

The US Medicine and Disease Olympiad (USMDO) is a national qualifying competition in medicine-related biology for US high school students that selects representatives for the International Medicine and Disease Olympiad (IMDO). The competition consists of one online exam of 160 multiple-choice questions (2 hours of active time) with a 12-hour window to begin the exam. The USMDO tests knowledge in cell biology and genetics, human physiology, and human disease. The 2026 USMDO will be held on 2026-08-02.

Open to all US high school students interested in human biology, medicine, health, and disease.
