McGill Physics Hackathon

A 24-hour, team-based programming hackathon focused on scientific computing and the physical sciences, held on McGill University's campus. Teams of 2–5 people develop a project over a 24-hour hacking period during a multi-day event with mentoring from academic and industry experts. The event includes training sessions, mentors, and food for participants. It is intended to welcome participants with interest in programming and the physical sciences across different educational levels.

Access to mentors from academia and industry, training sessions prior to the event, and meals provided during the hackathon.

Anyone from anywhere can participate provided they can join the event in-person; students from high school, CEGEP, college, or university (undergraduate and graduate) are explicitly welcome.

Individual registration via the event registration system; teams can be added during registration or formed at the event.
