Winter School on Biological Physics

A winter school providing rigorous training in core and topical areas of theoretical biological physics through lectures and courses. It is aimed at early-career researchers and covers topics such as stochastic processes, dynamical systems, soft and active matter, and information theory, with topical courses in neurobiology and immunology. Selected participants are expected to attend the entire school. Accommodation will be provided on campus for outstation participants.

Limited travel support for participants from India; accommodation in on-campus guest house; lectures and topical courses by invited speakers.

Invites PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with backgrounds in physics, mathematics, or engineering and a demonstrated interest in biology; selected participants must attend the entire school.
