Summer Physics

Intensive summer General Physics courses (PHYS 141 General Physics I and PHYS 142 General Physics II) offered by Andrews University with small-group learning and lab components. The 2026 sessions run in May and June and are available to students who register as guest students if not already enrolled at Andrews. The page describes registration steps, prerequisite requirements, tuition rates, and summer housing/meal arrangements.

Students not already enrolled at Andrews University may apply as guest students; prerequisite evidence (Math Placement Exam ≥4, ACT Math ≥24, SAT Math ≥570, or equivalent precalculus course) is required for General Physics.

Apply to Andrews University as a guest student via the admissions guest-student application; once accepted, request a prerequisite override by emailing Professor Brendan Cross with AU ID and proof of prerequisite, then register through Registration Central.
