SPARC Associate Biologist Intern

A part-time biology internship within ATCC's SPARC (Student Partnership and Research Collaboration) Program based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The role provides hands-on laboratory research experience in areas such as cryobiology, microbiology, cell biology, microphysiological systems, and sequencing/bioinformatics while students continue academic studies. Participants work up to 20 hours per week on regulated biological materials manufacturing tasks and deliver a capstone presentation. The position is paid at an hourly wage.

Hourly compensation; hands-on laboratory experience, mentorship, professional development, and a capstone project presentation.

Currently pursuing a life science–focused bachelor’s degree at the Universities at Shady Grove; rising third- or fourth-year undergraduate students in Biology or a related field.
