NSF NGF Student Career Internship Program

A student career internship program run by the EarthScope Consortium offering real-world work experience related to interns' academic and career goals. Positions are full-time for at least 11 weeks and typically offer remote options depending on duties. Interns are integrated into project teams, receive orientation and training, and work with a supervisor/mentor on a defined statement of work.

Weekly stipend ($1000/week), company orientation, training and compliance as needed, mentorship and weekly supervisory meetings, professional development and cohort activities, and addition to internal alumni job list.

Open to undergraduate, graduate students, and recent graduates (within 1 year of graduating at time of application); all applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. International students enrolled at U.S.-based institutions should check with their university international student office.

Applications are submitted through the Submittable system (create a free Submittable account or sign in with Google/Facebook); applications typically open in late November/early December and require completion of the Submittable form.
