BRICS Legal Studies School 2026

A week-long intensive academic program hosted by the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) exploring the legal systems of the original BRICS countries and fostering dialogue among BRICS+ countries. The program combines lectures, panel discussions, case studies, interactive workshops, simulations of international legal negotiations, and a scientific poster session. Instruction is in English and the program includes a study visit to Ouro Preto. It targets final-year undergraduate and graduate students and aligns with BRICS 2026 themes including AI, climate change, and security.

Tuition, accommodations, daily breakfast and lunch, afternoon coffee break, field trip; participation in lectures, workshops, simulations and a scientific poster session.
