STEM Challenge 2026

An inter-school, multi-round STEM competition for high school students across the UAE that tests theoretical knowledge and practical skills through quizzes, MCQs and hands-on building challenges. Teams compete in rounds including quiz head-to-heads, building projects and elimination power rounds. The event aims to develop problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking and teamwork. Participating students receive certificates and winning teams earn scholarships, trophies and medals.

All students receive a certificate of participation; winning teams receive scholarships, trophies, and medals; certificate of appreciation from Curtin University for participating teams.

Students studying Grade 9 or above (as of April 2027) are eligible; teams of five students from the same school are required though exceptions may be made.
