Forster Summer School

Forster Summer School is an annual interdisciplinary summer program hosted by the Faculty of Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Geography and Geosciences at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. It brings together scientists from chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, geography and geosciences to examine a specific topic in global change and explore future perspectives. The 2026 edition is organized as a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) and aims to foster international networking, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer, and language and cultural skills.

Participants gain international networking, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer, and opportunities to develop language and cultural skills; experience of Mainz and its surroundings.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD study program.
