Summer School on Mathematical Foundation of Data Science

A Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) summer program focused on mathematical foundations of data science, combining virtual and in-person activities at the University of South Carolina. The program runs with project-based research groups, guest lectures, and a final student research presentation. It is intended for undergraduate students and plans to accept about 20 participants. Stipends are available for eligible participants.

Stipend (amounts vary by participation mode), research project experience, guest speaker lectures, opportunity to present research findings.

The program will accept undergraduate students. Students who are US citizens or permanent residents are eligible to receive a stipend.
