Dresden Leibniz Graduate School (DLGS) in Sustainability Sciences

The Dresden Leibniz Graduate School (DLGS) offers an interdisciplinary, three-year doctoral programme hosted by the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) and Dresden University of Technology (TUD). Fellows are admitted through a competitive process with independently conceived research proposals that align with IOER’s research. The programme provides scientific supervision, structured training, and funding opportunities for fieldwork and conferences.

Full-time doctoral scholarship for three years, travel and research activity expenses, supervision and structured training, access to courses and conferences.

DLGS fellows are admitted in a competitive process with a Master’s degree within the last three years and a suitable research proposal aligned with IOER's remit. Applicants must apply online and meet language and research criteria for the annual or open-topic calls.
