The Dresden Leibniz Graduate School (DLGS) offers an interdisciplinary, three-year doctoral programme hosted by the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) and Dresden University of Technology (TUD). Fellows are admitted through a competitive process with independently conceived research proposals that align with IOER’s research. The programme provides scientific supervision, structured training, and funding opportunities for fieldwork and conferences.

Eligibility

DLGS fellows are admitted in a competitive process with a Master’s degree within the last three years and a suitable research proposal aligned with IOER's remit. Applicants must apply online and meet language and research criteria for the annual or open-topic calls.
