Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) Scholarship 2026 Open

The Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) Scholarship 2026–2027 provides funded short-term study or research placements in Canada for students from Latin America and the Caribbean. Selected students receive scholarships to cover living expenses while host institutions waive tuition. The program focuses on academic exchange, leadership development, and international networking with Canadian post-secondary institutions.

Open to students enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution in eligible Latin America and Caribbean countries who are citizens of those countries and able to complete the placement in Canada by the specified deadline.

Applications are submitted through Canadian post-secondary institutions, which coordinate the Management and Accountability Framework submission.
