Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Science Diversity Leadership Award 2025

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Science Diversity Leadership Award 2025 provides a substantial grant to outstanding early- to mid-career biomedical researchers in U.S. universities, medical schools, or nonprofit research institutes. The award supports the recipient's research program and includes a mix of in-person and virtual meetings. The program emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and diversity, equity, and inclusion within the scientific community.

The grant supports the awardee’s research program; CZI will convene a mix of in-person and virtual meetings for grantees.

Applicants must hold an MD, PhD, ScD, MD/PhD, DDM, DVM, or equivalent, have a faculty position or equivalent independent investigator status, and applications must be submitted by domestic US nonprofit organizations.

Letters of intent due December 3, 2024; invited applicants submit full applications by April 8, 2025.
