Eni Award

The Eni Award is an international award recognising research and technological innovation in the energy and environmental fields. It is organised by Eni to highlight advances in these areas and includes distinct prize categories and application forms for 2026. The award targets research and innovation efforts related to energy and the environment. Winners receive formal recognition through the award programme.

Main prizes: Advanced Environmental Solutions €200,000; Energy Transition €200,000; Energy Frontiers €200,000. Two Young Researcher of the Year prizes: €25,000 each. Two Young Talents from Africa prizes: €25,000 each. Additional ‘Eni for Innovation’ recognitions.

The Young Researcher of the Year Prize is addressed to graduates born in or after 1993 who defended their Doctorate Thesis at an Italian University during 2025 or 2024 on the scientific topics promoted by the Eni Award.
