Young Investigator Awards for outstanding publications

An annual award recognising outstanding original research publications that advance knowledge in atherosclerosis or atherosclerosis and metabolic disturbances. Two recipients (one in basic science and one in clinical research) each receive a cash prize and are invited to present at the EAS Congress. The award ceremony takes place during the Opening Ceremony of the EAS Congress. Winners will be reviewed by the Society’s Award Committee and selected by the Society’s Executive Committee.

€2000 prize for each of two recipients (one basic science, one clinical research); invitation to present research at the EAS Congress; award ceremony at the EAS Congress Opening Ceremony.

Nominated article must be an original research article in English published between January 01 and December 31 of the year of publication; the nominee must be the first author and 40 years or younger on December 31 the year of publication. Nominations must be submitted by an active EAS Individual member or EAS Student member; self-nominations are allowed.
