Formula SAE Italy

Formula SAE Italy is a student engineering competition in which university teams design, build and compete with a single-seat racecar under realistic technical and economic constraints. The 21st edition takes place at the Autodromo “R. Paletti” di Varano de’ Melegari and includes static engineering, business and cost judging as well as dynamic track events such as Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross and Endurance. Multiple classes run concurrently, including electric, combustion, driverless and presentation-only categories. Corporate sponsors and industry partners award prizes and recognise top teams in class-specific and overall categories.

Prizes and recognitions awarded by sponsors (examples include awards from Dallara, Ferrari and Marelli) and networking opportunities with industry showcased at the event.

University students organised in teams are the participants; the event brings together student teams from multiple countries and universities.
