Prizes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the best scientific works by young scientists and students

The Prizes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine recognise the best scientific works by young scientists and students in natural, engineering, social and humanitarian sciences. Fourteen prizes are awarded annually for young scientists and fourteen for students to individual authors or teams (maximum three authors) for single works, a series of works, discoveries or inventions. Prize-winners receive diplomas of the approved format at the General Meeting of the relevant NASU department and are listed as award recipients. Works previously awarded NASU or branch academy prizes are ineligible.

Open to researchers, teachers, research interns, postgraduate students of research institutions up to the age of 35, students of higher education institutions, and students and postgraduate students from foreign countries studying at scientific institutions and higher education institutions of Ukraine. Nominations must be submitted by authorised bodies (full and corresponding members of NASU; academic councils of institutions; collegiums of ministries and departments; technical councils of enterprises; councils of scientific societies).

Nominations are submitted by authorised organisations; nominators must send required documentation (official nomination letter, application with title and abstract, copies of works, contribution certificate for co-authors, certificate that work was not previously awarded, at least two peer reviews, author information, consent to personal data processing) to the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (54 Volodymyrska St., 01601, Kyiv) as specified.
