Schmidt Science Fellows

Schmidt Science Fellows is a funded fellowship programme for early-career scientists to pursue interdisciplinary research by pivoting to new disciplines. Fellows receive a stipend and participate in mentoring and professional development to advance their research and leadership in science. The program is delivered in partnership with leading institutions and supports a cohort of researchers over one to two years to pursue transformative science.

Stipend for up to two years, individualized mentoring, and a series of professional development sessions at leading centers worldwide.

The program targets exceptional early-career scientists from around the world who are ready to pivot to interdisciplinary research.
