UN Young Professionals Programme (YPP)

The UN Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is an annual recruitment initiative to select and hire outstanding young professionals worldwide for positions across the United Nations. Successful candidates who pass the application, two-stage online examination and interview are placed on a UN roster that remains active for three years and is used to fill professional vacancies across the UN Secretariat. The programme covers multiple job fields which vary by year.

Citizens of participating countries with a bachelor's degree or a minimum three-year academic degree in the exam subject; applicants must be no older than 32 and must be proficient in English and/or French.

Submit an application via the UN Careers/INSPIRA platform and complete a two-stage online exam followed by an interview.
