Sèmè City Film Lab 2025 for Future Screenwriters & Creative Producers in Benin

Sèmè City Film Lab is an incubation program designed to guide film and series projects from concept to production. The 14-month program combines in-person and online training with hands-on production support, access to equipment, and mentorship from industry professionals. It aims to develop skills across narrative development, production techniques, post-production, and film marketing and distribution for participants’ projects.

Access to industry mentors and experts; exposure to screen industries trends; practical skills development from screenwriting to post-production; support in project development, production, and distribution planning.

Open to creatives from Benin and the African diaspora; must be between 18 and 35 years old; fluent in English and able to commit to 14 months in the Republic of Benin.

Application review followed by an interview with a jury of film and television professionals.
