U.S. Embassy in Tripoli MEPI Student Leaders Program 2025-2026

The U.S. Embassy in Tripoli MEPI Student Leaders Program 2025-2026 is a yearlong leadership and civic engagement program for competitively selected undergraduate and graduate students from the Middle East and North Africa region. The program includes pre-summer, a four-week in-person summer segment in the United States, and post-summer activities focused on climate change and environmental protection, with an emphasis on developing community engagement plans and professional networks.

Participation in a yearlong program with a four-week in-person summer segment in the United States; access to training, professional networking opportunities, and continued engagement through the MEPI Alumni network (2,000 members).

Citizens from Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Qatar, Syria, Tunisia, West Bank and Gaza, and Yemen; must reside in their home country; must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and aged 20-24.
