Nozīmīgākie zinātnes sasniegumi Latvijā 2025

The competition "Most Significant Scientific Achievements in Latvia 2025" is an annual national contest run by the Latvian Academy of Sciences to identify and publicise notable scientific work produced in Latvia. Eligible submissions are research works nominated by registered scientific institutes, universities, higher education institutions and full members of the Academy. Selected achievements are evaluated by the Academy and the final list of significant scientific achievements is approved and announced by the LZA Presidium.

Inclusion in the Academy's list of the year's most significant scientific achievements and increased recognition by the Latvian Academy of Sciences.

Applications may be submitted by institutes included in the Ministry of Education and Science register of scientific institutions, universities, higher education institutions, and full members of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.

Submit a two-part application by email consisting of a public description (up to 800 characters) and a non-public part with additional annotation and supporting information.
