Art School Alliance

The Art School Alliance is an international exchange and scholarship programme run by the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg and the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. It enables 24 international art students each year to live and study for one semester in residential studios in Hamburg. The programme provides furnished studio-living spaces in converted factory floors and promotes artistic exchange with HFBK Hamburg students and partner art schools. Participants present their work in public open studios at the end of their six-month stay.

Residence in furnished studio-apartments for one semester, workspace/studio facilities, exchange with HFBK students, presentation opportunity in open studios

International art students from the programme's partner art schools are eligible to participate.
