Challenges and Prospects of Low‐Dimensional Quantum Gases

A Brazilian-German WE-Heraeus seminar bringing together primarily scientists from Brazil and Germany, with participants from other countries, to discuss challenges and prospects for quantum gases in spatial dimensions lower than three. The meeting includes plenary sessions, contributed talks by some young participants, and poster sessions. Topics highlighted include two-dimensional quantum gas systems, quantum gases in microgravity bubble traps, photon Bose-Einstein condensates, and anyonic statistics in one-dimensional lattices. The seminar is scheduled to be held at Instituto Principia in São Paulo, Brazil.

Plenary presentations, opportunity to give contributed talks, poster sessions to disseminate research and engage with international experts.

The seminar will bring together primarily scientists from Brazil and Germany; scientists from other parts of the world will also participate. Some young participants will give contributed talks and present posters.
