Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Overseas Postgraduate (Masters & PhD) Scholarship Scheme 2026/2027

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) invites applications for its 2026/2027 Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship for Master’s and PhD studies. The scholarship is available for study at PTDF partner universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Malaysia, and includes opportunities for split-site PhD arrangements with UK partner universities. The scheme focuses on programmes relevant to the oil and gas industry and provides access to world-class training and research facilities abroad.

MSc applicants must have a 2.1 (or 2.2 with relevant experience), NYSC completed, and other specified qualifications; PhD applicants must have a 2.2 or better and a relevant postgraduate degree with a research proposal.
