The M. Hildred Blewett Fellowship is a one-year award to enable women to return to physics research careers after an interruption. The fellowship supports eligible applicants with funds that may be used for dependent care, salary, travel, equipment, and tuition and fees. Overhead charges by the host institution are not allowed. The number of recipients varies.

$45,000 award covering dependent care (up to 50%), salary, travel, equipment, and tuition and fees

Conditions d'éligibilité

Applicants must have completed work toward a Ph.D.; provide written proof from a U.S. or Canadian institution that the applicant will have institutional affiliation during the tenure of the grant; and be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or legal resident, or resident alien eligible to work in the United States or Canada.

Candidature

Complete application and arrange for 1–3 recommendation letters (one may be from a designated mentor) to be uploaded through the application portal; provide a letter of institutional support confirming affiliation during the grant.
