Mission X: Train Like an Astronaut (2026–2027)

Mission X: Train Like an Astronaut is a free, international educational school project run by ESA and partners that challenges students to train like astronauts through physical exercises and scientific investigations. It combines fitness missions with STEM-related scientific activities focused on health, nutrition, human biology and the effects of microgravity. The project provides ready-to-use resources for teachers, online submission of results, and a certificate of participation for students. Each school year features the Walk to the Moon Challenge in which teams earn virtual 'steps' by completing activities.

La partecipazione è aperta in tutto il mondo a singoli o squadre di studenti di età fino a 19 anni (consigliato 5-14); le attività possono essere presentate da insegnanti o educatori registrati.

Insegnanti o educatori si registrano sul sito web di Mission X e inviano online i risultati delle attività del team per la Walk to the Moon Challenge.
