Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize 2025

The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize recognises exceptional leadership by a young activist in defending, renewing or promoting democracy. The prize includes a monetary award and support such as a mentorship, and travel and accommodation for participation in the Athens Democracy Forum. Nominees are young leaders up to 30 years old and nominations come from an organisation.

Monetary prize of USD 10,000, mentorship with a democracy expert or senior leader for one year, and travel and accommodation for the Athens Democracy Forum.

Nominees must be aged between 18 and 30 at the time of nomination, and nominations must come from an organisation.
