Applications are open for the UN DESA Junior Professional Officers Programme 2025. The programme is a multilateral development cooperation initiative sponsored by the Government of Italy and implemented by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA). It aims to provide skilled personnel to international organizations and to offer young professionals international experience that could broaden recruitment opportunities.

Individuals born on or after specified dates, with advanced university degrees; Italian nationality for the Italy-funded programme; fluency in English and Italian; for some candidates, additional nationality requirements apply if representing developing countries.
