Green & Sustainable Chemistry Award

The Green & Sustainable Chemistry Award is an annual prize recognising outstanding scientific discoveries in green and sustainable chemistry. It targets professors (up to age 45) who have contributed to sustainable chemical methodologies and technologies. The award is endowed with CHF 10,000 and is implemented in collaboration with Syngenta and hosted by SusChem Switzerland. The winner is invited to give a lecture at an SCS event and the award ceremony takes place at the Swiss Chemistry Science Night.

The prize targets professors up to the age of 45. Nominations are invited from organisations and individuals; self-nominations are not admitted.

Nominations must be submitted by organisations or individuals (self-nominations not permitted). A nomination dossier should include a nomination letter, a brief CV (max 2 pages), a list of five key publications and up to three seconding letters; documents should be sent electronically to the Swiss Chemical Society.
