European Commission €45,000 PhD Scholarship 2027 at Galway University Open

The European Commission– Galway University PhD Scholarship is a fully funded doctoral opportunity embedded in the Joint Research Centre's Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships. It funds four years of research on the sovereignty implications of European open data, with a split residency across Ireland and Italy and dual supervision from Galway and JRC scientists. The package combines an Irish Hardiman stipend, full tuition coverage, conference travel funds and equipment support, plus a JRC salary during the Italian residency.
