Prijs van de Academie voor fundamenteel wetenschappelijk onderzoek in de geneeskunde I

The Prijs van de Academie voor fundamenteel wetenschappelijk onderzoek in de geneeskunde I is a monetary prize awarded by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium for fundamental scientific research in medicine. It recognises a scientific treatise or a bundle of publications in Dutch, French or English related to fundamental medical research. The prize is intended for individual researchers or two collaborating researchers and carries a personal reward of €2,500.

€2,500 personal monetary prize

An individual researcher or two collaborating researchers may apply. Candidates must have obtained their doctoral degree less than five years (60 months) before the application deadline; the doctorate need not yet be awarded. Candidates must not have applied for or be laureates of certain Academy prizes and must not be members of a Royal Academy of Belgium.

Complete the provided application form and web form; include a one-page summary, a Web of Science search result listing the 50 most-cited publications, a PDF of up to 10 relevant publications or a thesis, and supporting documents for any periods of full-time parental leave or sick leave. Do not submit other documents.
