Prijs van de Academie voor fundamenteel wetenschappelijk onderzoek in de geneeskunde II

The Prize of the Academy for Fundamental Scientific Research in Medicine II is a monetary award for individual researchers or two collaborating researchers for work in fundamental medical research. The submission may be a scientific treatise or a collection of publications in Dutch, French or English and may include a thesis. The prize recognises early-career researchers within five years of obtaining their doctoral degree.

Cash prize of 2,500 euro.

An individual researcher or two collaborating researchers may apply. Candidates must have obtained their doctoral degree less than five years before the application deadline (the doctorate may not yet have been obtained). Candidates who have been laureates of Academy prizes or members of a Royal Academy of Belgium are ineligible.

Complete the provided nomination form and web form and attach a one-page summary, a Web of Science top-50 citation search result, up to 10 relevant publications (PDF) or a thesis, and, if applicable, official documents substantiating periods of full-time parental or sick leave.
