About this opportunity

The French-speaking Master’s in International Journalism (MFJI) is a two-year master’s program launched by DW Akademie and EPJT, aimed at media professionals from French-speaking North and West Africa. Ten candidates are selected each year through a two-phase process, and admitted candidates receive a merit-based scholarship covering tuition and living expenses.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a higher education degree (bachelor or higher) awarded within the last 10 years and have at least one year of professional experience in media or journalism. Proficiency in French at C1/C2 is required, with English knowledge being an advantage but not mandatory.

How to apply

Applicants must pass an eligibility phase followed by an admission phase consisting of an oral interview and a written test.
