The Challenger Digital and Green Accelerator Programme (Challenger D&G) 2026 for Early-stage Southern African startups

The Challenger Digital and Green Accelerator Programme (Challenger D&G) is an accelerator initiative supporting early-stage startups in Southern Africa to develop digital and green solutions. It offers virtual acceleration, mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs and investors, and pathways to fundraising, market visibility, and international connections. Selected startups receive structured support, possibly including a grant prize pool at the programme end.

Virtual acceleration (Nov 2025–May 2026) focusing on business model refinement and leadership; one-on-one and peer mentorship; fundraising and pitch training; market visibility through events and networks; cohort community and regional/international connections; up to 25 startups selected; top teams may attend Latitude59 events; €15,000 prize pool for top startups.

Early-stage startups (≤ 5 years old), registered in South Africa, Namibia, or Botswana; strong preference for youth, female, and/or black-owned enterprises; must fit one Challenger D&G focus area and be ready for advanced pilot or market entry (TRL 4–7).
