DHET China Youth NEET Programme 2025/2026

Fully funded scholarship programme for South African youth who are not in employment, education or training to study a three-year diploma in Hydrogen Energy Technology Application Major at Changchun Technical University of Automobile, China, starting in October 2025. The package covers tuition, travel, accommodation, a monthly stipend, settlements allowance, visa costs and student support services. Successful awardees must sign a contract and return to South Africa upon completion.

Tuition covered in full, travel allowances, monthly stipend, settlement allowance, visa costs, orientation, and psychosocial support services.

South African citizens in good health, high school graduate or equivalent, aged 18-29, able to study in China from October 2025, and able to undertake Chinese language study (HSK4) in the first year.
