About this opportunity
The Commonwealth Youth Awards for Excellence in Development Work recognises and celebrates young people aged 15–29 in the Commonwealth who lead impactful, sustainable development work in their communities. The programme is organised by the Commonwealth Youth Programme and highlights nominees’ contributions to the SDGs and youth-led development across regional and Pan-Commonwealth levels.

Eligibility
Nominees must have been engaged in development work for more than 12 months, must be a Commonwealth citizen and the work must take place in a Commonwealth member country, and nominees must be aged 15 to 29 on 31 December 2025. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone who can describe their development work.

Nominations are submitted for the Commonwealth Youth Awards; individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone who can attest to their development work.
