Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Bursary Programme 2025/2026 for Young South Africans

The IDC Bursary Programme offers financial assistance to eligible South African students for full-time study towards an accredited degree or diploma. It covers tuition, campus accommodation, textbooks, and meal allowances, primarily to support high-performing learners from rural areas and SA citizens pursuing engineering, business & economics, agricultural science, or computer science. The programme targets Grade 12 students and tertiary students, with selection based on academic performance and other criteria.

Tuition, campus accommodation, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and meal allowances are covered.

South African citizens aged 16-26; Matric students with at least 75% average (and 65% for tertiary students), pursuing engineering, business & economics, agricultural science, or computer science; must be eligible for admission to SA universities or TVET colleges.
