About this opportunity
The Allianz Climate Risk Award is a global award for early-career researchers whose work focuses on understanding and mitigating extreme weather risks related to climate change. Ten applicants are shortlisted, with the top three invited to Munich to present their work; there is a monetary prize for the finalists and winner.
Benefits & funding
Travel costs covered for finalists; monetary awards for the top finalists (EUR 7,000 for the winner; EUR 3,000 for other finalists).
Eligibility
Open to PhD candidates and post-doctoral researchers; recent PhD graduates within two years of graduation are eligible.
