UNIDO Global Cleantech Innovation Programme 2025

The Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) 2025 supports early-stage cleantech startups and SMEs to accelerate innovative solutions in energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste beneficiation, water efficiency, green buildings, transportation, and advanced materials. It aims to promote climate action, sustainable development, and international collaboration, including through South-South and Triangular cooperation. The program engages startups and other stakeholders involved in cleantech innovation ecosystems and provides support through UNIDO’s climate action agenda.

Support for cleantech startups and SMEs to accelerate innovation; focus on climate action and just transitions; international collaboration opportunities.

The primary direct beneficiaries are early-stage startups and SMEs developing innovative cleantech solutions; GCIP also supports national government institutions, R&D organizations, and industry stakeholders in partner countries.
